Judith and Lia are a mother and daughter team who bring the ancient art of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine to a modern spa setting. Judith and Lia received their training together. They received a Masters of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University, a lineage-based school that includes 4 years of training in Qi Gong and Tai Chi. They are both certified by the California Acupuncture Board and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Judith and Lia studied Traditional Chinese Medical dermatology under Dr. Yue-ying Li. They have received advanced training in cosmetic acupuncture from Mary Elizabeth Wakefield, L.Ac., MS, and learned the Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture System™ from Dr. Martha Lucas, Ph.D., L.Ac. and Denise Ellinger, L.Ac. Judith and Lia are currently pursuing her DAOM degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego. They are also participating in a pilot study on Prostate Cancer Radiation patients at the Navel Medical Center in San Diego.
